This beautiful picture of the Maple leaves was taken at the Immaculate Conception Church in Downtown Hendersonville this fall.

Taken recently at Dupont State Forest - Wintergreen Falls - this is a beautiful & relatively easy hike (3.5 mile roundtrip)

I just liked the looks of this old pick up truck at Paul Shoemaker's Christmas Tree farm in Mills River.  We love to buy our Christmas Trees there and it has become a family tradition.

One evening this fall a beautiful Harvest Moon came up in Hendersonville, so I quickly ran and grabbed my camera.  Fall in the Mountains is my favorite time of the year.   Beauty is just everywhere in the Fall here.

This was another shot of the Harvest Moon this Fall.

Here's my dog Buddy after his Thanksgiving dinner....I believe the Turkey was really working on him at this point.

This was taken at the Sandburg National Historic Site in Flat Rock, NC.   Just one of my favorite places to take a walk and really find solitude!

This is the spectacular view from the peak of Mt. Pisgah, one of my favorite hiking trails. The high mountain in the center is Cold Mountain.

Here's another shot at Sandburg National Historic Site.   The water that day was so still it was just perfect for taking a picture.

I always love the Spring colors in the Mountains.   This happy little Daffodil greeted me Early Spring last year...just before our last big snowfall!

You can see the home of Carl Sandburg on the hill...talk about a home with a view!!!

The Hendersonville Christmas Parade is always a big highlight of our Holidays here.  It gives me a chance to get my old 55 Chevy Truck out for some exposure.

First Snow Fall of the Year here in Hendersonville NC (12/12/2010)

Christmas lights in the snow....almost looks like a Greeting Card!

Christmas Time in the Mountains is beautiful...albeit cold!

It is really beautiful when the snow sticks to the trees!

On a recent visit to the Cliffs at Walnut Cove I made this photo of the Tavern...it is simply amazing!!!

Here's a shot of the coffered ceiling in the Tavern staircase...the attention to detail is incredible!

Beautiful Entry to the Tavern at the Cliffs at Walnut Cove.

Something I love about the Cliffs at Walnut Cove is the gorgeous natural setting.  This is a shot below the pond and dam.

I love the Copper Gas Lanterns that adorn the grounds at the Cliffs.

This is the view of Mount Pisgah from the Big Glassy trail at the Sandburg National Historic Site in Flat Rock.  I took this on a morning hike in January.

Note the crisp Blue sky.  It was very cold that morning but the views were worth the effort to get to the top!

Frozen pond on the hike up Big Glassy.

This is the view of the Carl Sandburg home from below.  This is one of my favorite places in Henderson County.  It's convenient and offers some great hiking trails.

This shot was made in Manteo, North Carolina.  I thought this was a great light fixture on the side of a historic building.   North Carolina offers Mountains to the Coast!

This shot was made at the Waterfront in Manteo, North Carolina.  Another great example of  North Carolina Mountains to Coast!

This shot was made in Corolla, NC and is the Currituck Light Station circa 1873.  I love the NC Lighthouses!

This is the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse...perhaps one of the most well known Lighthouses on the East Coast of the US, and easily one of the most recognizable landmarks in NC.

This shot offers a different perspective of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

This is the Ocracoke Light House on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina.  Built in 1823, it's the second oldest NC light house.   Centered in Ocracoke Village.

Fall colors during October 2011 have been fabulous.  This shot was taken at the Kimberly-Clark Berkley Mills campus in Hendersonville.

Chimney Rock, NC, just minutes from Hendersonville. Easily one of the most scenic areas in North Carolina!   This was taken on a cold December day, 2011.
